Richard is one of Ireland's most exciting, award winning theatrical producers, directors and visionaries to create theatre.

 

Having began his theatre training in various theatre practices since his tender years, following on from this Richard was the Managing Director of Dressing Room 1 Theatre Group having founded it in 2016 at the age of 16, before then he was the Artistic Director of ‘Dunamaise Youth Arts’ for two years working alongside Dunamaise Arts Centre. Since then Richard has produced many hit shows with ‘Dressing Room 1 Productions'.

 

Richard is the founder & CEO of Mansworth Productions Ltd. and is now working tirelessly on Mansworth Productions upcoming seasons in which he is bringing many new shows to the stage around Ireland and the world. 

Richard also from invitation, currently sits on the Peer Panel of The Arts Council of Ireland, An Chomharile Ealaíon. 

Richard was also the founder of DYA (Dunamaise Youth Arts), Irish youth musical theatre training company, and is founder & artistic director of The Richard Mansworth Stage School.

Awards Include: The Arts Council, Theatre Professional Development (Recipient); The Arts Council, Agility Award (Recipient); The Arts Council, LLPSS Grant For Theatrical Production (Recipient) & Gaisce Team Award for leadership.

Richard has also trained at The Gaiety School of Acting and is a member of Drama League of Ireland and the Performing Arts Educators of Ireland.
